Kirt describes himself as a people’s coach. After a successful amateur basketball career, both at youth level in the UK and on scholarship at the collegiate level in Chicago, USA. Kirt naturally transitioned into the fitness industry in 2014. As a qualified S&C coach, class instructor and nutrition coach, Kirt’s knowledge and experience playing sports has directly impacted his ideas and training methods and thrives working with others, making him a great choice as coach – whether one-to-one or as a group. As a human – “athlete” or not – availability is essential to our everyday activity so my training includes strength development, mobility and maintenance to ensure each client is strong in a variety of ways. If we can move well in multiple depths, directions and angles and be strong in various ranges then we are more prepared for everything.
“Performance training for everyone”
I have tried and tested multiple disciplines first as an aspiring athlete, for recreation, now a new dynamic as a dad of two, soon to be three. I’ve reinvented myself multiple times to due to the evolution of my goals – performance and competition, injuries, family commitments, work-life balance. I focus on becoming a better mover through three dimensional training coupled with an emphasis of internal training (joint health) to drive performance, improve health and mitigate injury.
